Cards are intended to carry your sentiments and emotions, and no matter when you present them: for holidays, occasions or just because. So if you feel like attaching a card to a present or a bunch of flowers and if you want to make it special, have a look at my tiny collection to inspire you.
I don’t perceive cardmaking as rejuvenation of old paper, but I do try to use recycled materials (off cuts of envelopes, chocolate wrappings, museum tickets etc.). They are also accumulation of impressions and memories that might give the receiver a romantic feel.
My supplies aren’t daunty: common card stock of different colours, a craft knife, acrylic paints, and some ribbons, beads and spangles as embellishments. I hardly use ready-made card blanks or stencils, so most of my cards are of unique size and matched with a self-made envelope.
